Ronald Lee Donson, 76, of 3900 State Route 66 B, Houston, OH, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015. He was born November 7, 1938 in Houston, OH; a son of the late Robert John Donson and Virginia Louise Curl Donson. He retired after 30 years of employment from the Recycling Haus. He attended AA meetings, liked watching wrestling with his great grandson Preston Meiring, and enjoyed westerns and law and order.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Kathryn Grise Donson Spears; a sister, Everlyn Donson Mowery Pierce Long; grandson, Ronald Eilerman, and great granddaughter, Marilyn Donson.
He is survived by three daughters; Teresa (Terry) Eilerman, of Houston, OH, Virginia Griffin, of Ladylake, FL, and Amy Schaefer, of Starbuck, MN; two sons, John and Billy Donson, both of Sidney; 12 grandchildren, Shaun Meiring, Derek Eilerman, Moriah Donson, Levi Donson, Joshua Donson, Dustin Branchaud, Denny Donson, Cassie Tomoson, Kathryn Tomoson, Teresa Donson, Catie Donson, Billy Donson; two sisters, Dorothy Donson Grillot, of Pace, FL and Helen Donson Thobe, of Versailles, OH; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He is also survived by a special friend, Ginger Good and his beloved cat Tommy.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am Tuesday September 29, 2015 at the Adams Funeral Home
(1401 Fair Rd Sidney, OH) with Rev. Harold McKnight officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, OH.
Friends may call from 9:30am to 11am Tuesday at the funeral home.
