EDITH ELAINE “EDIE” HARE, age 56, of Jackson Center, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born in Sidney on December 9, 1959 to the late Donald “Don” and Wanda (Hawkins) Knasel. On October 8, 1983, she married Pete Hare and he survives.
Edie is also survived by one son: Jacob Hare of Lima; siblings: David (Bonnie) Knasel of Sidney, Dan (Barb) Knasel of Sidney, Chris Chandler and Joe Riddle of Maplewood and Audrey (Chuck) Riddle of Maplewood; nieces and nephews: Jeremy Knasel, Alicia (Knasel) Allenbaugh, Leslie Chandler, Wesley Riddle, Katie Chandler, Riley Riddle and Christina Riddle; and her grandpuppy: Watson.
Edie was a member of Jackson Center United Methodist Church. She was a caregiver. Edie was very talented and creative. Her biggest interest was her nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Rev. Bill Halter officiating. Burial will follow in Pearl Cemetery in Sidney. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
