Patricia Ann "Pat" Varno, age 80, of Sidney, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Wilson Health.
She was born October 11, 1935 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Harry Plessinger and Helen Trittschuh Marchal-Simon.
Pat retired from Big Bear Grocery Store in Sidney, she was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Sidney, VFW Auxiliary Post #4239, AmVets Post #1986, and Eagle's #1403. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards, bingo, traveling, and spending cold Ohio winter's in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph "Speed" Varno. Survivors include children Steven Kueterman of Sidney, Kathy (Jeff) Fair of Sidney, Diane (Dart) Cathcart of Sidney, David (Leslie) Keuterman of Monroe, Michigan, and Lori Zimpfer of Sidney; step-children Becky (Larry) Adams of Sidney, and Bob (Linda) Varno of Sidney; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren; and brother Donald Plessinger of Versailles.
Reverend Jonathan Schriber will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20th at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to Wilson Hospice, 915 Michigan Street, Sidney, Ohio.
