Susan, Wesley, and Alexis,
I read about Jerrid in the newspaper tonight. It was such a shock, I had to read it several times to make it real. It brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry. Jerrid will always have a place in my heart as will your family. He was a very kind sweet student, very easy to work with, and love. I think of Alexis (also a kindergarten student of mine) and Jerrid and your family so often. It is so hard to lose a son and brother at such a young age. We lost a son at age 16 so I can feel a little of the pain you are going through. I think of Jerrid with very vivid pleasant memories. I will keep him in my prayers and thoughts. With great sympathy.
