Dorothea dearly loved taking bus trips coordinated by John Oen.  She was looking forward to her 16th trip on June 25, 2016 to Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Game.  She attended many music functions with her long- time friend, Jyl Baldwin.  She was honored for 34 years of attendance and handing out flyers for the Sidney Civic Band on June 12, 2015 dressed as “Dolly” for a rendition of “Hello Dolly”.  She loved to play cards with Tom and Cindy Miller, Diane and Bob Elliott and Susan Geary.  Some of her hobbies included her book collection, camping, crossword puzzles, listening to the ball games on her swing in the back yard with her transistor radio.  She loved Pepsi and Popcorn.  She had a GENUINE love for people.
