This is Tom, your paperboy on Miami Ave back in the day, and grandson of your neighbor Rosemary Gold... My deepest condolences to you all, I remember Diane as such a fun, classy, and generous lady and a genuinely happy spirit. I always loved when I had to collect from her as she always had a smile, pleasant conversation and an extra dollar or two! My Grandma Rosie LOVED having you folks as neighbors... I'm so sorry about Diane, she was one of the most tender hearted people I've ever known. I have great memories of us growing up together from when we lived in Quincy till we were grown and I baby sit the 3 kids for her occasionally I will remember her as a pure sweet honest loving and loyal child of God. Love to all of her family and prayers as well. Resting in the arms of our Lord.

I am so very sorry. Diane was such a warm-hearted person. She struggled so much to try to stay healthy. Her fight with diabetes was one of the most difficult and challenging that I have worked with.
She will always have a special place in my heart and memory.

I will remember Diane as a loving, caring woman! Diane cared for my Grandma Arline after an illness in the 1990's. As of a couple weeks ago, when I waited on her at the bank, she was still thinking about my family. Asking how different ones were getting along. Diane will surely be missed! You have My deepest sympathy.

Diane was a very special lady. She was my Sunday school when I was a young girl. I spent a lot of time with her at her brother Paul's home while she cared for his children in the evenings. She was so caring and always put others first. She will be missed. Thankful she is no longer sick and has perfect eye sight now.
