Charles L. Davidson

CHARLES L. DAVIDSON, age 76, of Pt. Jefferson, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Genesis/Troy Care in Troy.  He was born on March 9, 1940 in Pemberton to the late Clarence and Edith (Coil) Davidson.  On November 25, 1960, he married Betty Stephens.  She preceded him in death on June 22, 2003.

Charles is survived by four children: Deborah Davidson of Sidney, Mary Suttle of Sidney, Arlie (Fiancé: Amy McKnight) Davidson of Pemberton and Craig (Jill) Davidson of Pt. Jefferson; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and siblings: Ralph (Jan) Davidson of Pemberton, and Lillian Cook, Opel Shortridge and Judy Jackson, all of Sidney.  He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Charles was a member of Full Gospel Community Church in Sidney.  He retired from Gartland Haswell in Sidney.  Charles loved his family and his family pets.  He was a fan of Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Steelers and The Ohio State Buckeyes.  He enjoyed visiting both Kroger’s and Chase Bank in Sidney to visit with the people there.  Charles also enjoyed fishing and was an avid Johnny Cash fan.

Services will be held at 11:00 Am on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.  Burial will follow in Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.  Friends may call from 9:30-11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
