Willie Jones, Jr.

Willie Jones, Jr., age 71, of Sidney, entered into Heaven on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  He was born on October 7, 1951, in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Willie Jones, Sr., and Alicia (Chiles) Jones.  On July 15, 2006, he married Deborah (Glover) Jones and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Willie is survived by three daughters: Alicia Nukes of AL, Demesha Grier of Hollywood, FL, and Rhakenya Glover of Sidney, OH; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two siblings: Jerry (Betti) Jones of Douglasville, GA, and Sandra Jones of Brownsburg, IN.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Wells and Wilbert Jenkins.

Willie was a member of Mt. Zion House of Prayer in Sidney, where he served as a Deacon for many years.  He was a caregiver with CRSI in Sidney for many people over the years.

Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Mt. Zion House of Prayer, 324 Grove Street, Sidney with burial following in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday at the church.  Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.
