William C. "Bill" Fry

WILLIAM C. “BILL” FRY, age 43, of Anna, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on May 26, 1977 in Piqua.  His parents were William and Barbara Fry of Sidney.  On June 11, 2016, he married Lindsey (Jung) Fry and she survives.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bill is survived by five children: Austin Fry of Greenville, Nick Fry of Houston, Parker Fry of Anna, Brantley Fry of Anna and baby, Griffin, due in June; half-sister: Stephanie Fry of Sidney; half-brother: Ted (Angie) Howell of Liberty, KY; stepbrother: Mike (Jill) Bisbee of Sidney;; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Thomas and Diana Jung of Anna; sister-in-law: Rachel Mummey of New Bremen; nieces and nephews: Zach, Lexi, Reece, Reed, Taylor, Wyatt and Rachel; and many cousins and close friends. 

Bill was a 1995 graduate of Piqua High School.  He was employed at Edgewell in Sidney.  Bill was a member of St. Peter Church in New Bremen.  He played lots of softball in Sidney, including being a member of coed team, Backside Bandits and men’s team, Funk.  Bill enjoyed playing cornhole, card games, including 21, Texas hold’em and blackjack, and scratch off lottery tickets.  He was champion of a 3-point challenge at Kings Island.  Bill also coached at the YMCA for his son, Parker. He was an avid fan of the Dayton Dragons, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Pistons, Florida State University and Cleveland Browns.  He also loved bowling.  Bill be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH with Pastor Ed Rinehart officiating.  The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.  The family requests that attendees wear Florida State, Browns colors or softball jerseys to the service and visitation, if possible.
