William "Bill" Lee Seipel

William “Bill” Lee Seipel, 82, of Houston, Ohio, passed away on September 17, 2025.

Born in Piqua, Ohio on October 10, 1942, he was the son of William J. Seipel and Bonetta M. (Snyder) Seipel. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rick Seipel.

Bill was a very loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his son Jonathan (Tasha) Seipel of Houston and daughter Jamie (John) Pearson of Piqua, and his grandchildren Jaycie Seipel, Crista Pearson, Sam Pearson, John Pearson Jr., Grayden Wilson, and Evan Wilson. He is also survived by his former wife and lifelong friend Jan Seipel of Houston, his sister Rose A. (Bob) Cooper of Celina, his sister-in-law Kay Seipel of Piqua, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1960. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Marine Corps, including a tour in Vietnam. He later dedicated nearly 30 years working at Goodrich in Troy, Ohio, before retiring.

Bill was a true car enthusiast, happiest when he was in his garage restoring classic cars or attending car shows with his cherished friends. Above all, he treasured the quality time spent with his children and grandchildren. Bill was a very generous and caring person, full of knowledge and always ready to lend a hand. His love, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Houston Community Center on September 26, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. In honor of his love for classic cars and motorcycles, guests are invited to arrive in their favorite ride and help turn the parking lot into a car show in memory of Bill.
