Vivian L (Redinbo) Thomas

Vivian L. Thomas, age 91, of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born June 5, 1934, in Shelby County, Ohio, to the late Walter Raymond  and Ivolou (Crowe) Redinbo. 

She married Stanley Thomas on June 3, 1955, in Sidney.

She is survived by one son, Mark Thomas of Sidney, multiple nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley and sister, Marjorie Brackney.

Vivian was a lifetime member of The First United Methodist Church of Sidney.She was a lifelong resident of Sidney, living her entire life on the family home place. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1952 and began working at Citizens Baughman National Bank as a secretary with the personal loan department.  She jumped into a full-time homemaker role and continued working for the bank until she retired from Bank One (Chase) in 1995, having worked there for forty-three years.

A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to thank all of the employees at Heart to Home and Wilson Home Care for the excellent care provided to Vivian.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to charity of choice.
