Virginia Rose (Carrere) Beavers

Virginia Rose (Carrere) Beavers, age 92, passed away on April 29, 2022, with her daughters by her side.  She was born on March 10, 1930 in Dehue, West Virginia, to Joseph and Marianna (Molina) Carrere.  On April 15, 1950, she married William Gus Beavers, with whom she welcomed two daughters: Deborah (Gerold) Quillen and Marianne Whited, both of Sidney.

Along with her daughters, she is survived by five grandchildren: Dawn (Shane) Whiteman, Jamie Whited, Jennifer (Brian) Swift, Angela Sellers and Joel (Susan) Knouff; six great grandchildren: Adler Whited, William Richter, Trey Sellers, Max Richter, Kellen Sellers and Lia Richter; her sister: Aileen Carrere Sauscermen of Newark, Delaware; her twin brothers: Earnest Carrere of Bear, Delaware, and William Carrere of McConnell, West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Virginia was welcomed into Heaven by her husband and her parents, her sisters: Josephine Carrere Varrassi, Maggie Carrere Mariano, Lena Carrere Adkins and Katherine Carrere Strunk; her brother: Charlie Carrere; and her twin brother: William Carrere.

Virginia was a retiree from Copeland Corp. which is now Emerson.

Virginia lived her life for her faith in God, which guided her and her family, who cherished her.  She was a devoted wife and mother and an adoring grandmother.  Virginia loved to have visitors, welcomed them with a hug and treated everyone like family.  She was so special and will forever be loved.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Miami County for the love and support they provided to our sweet mother and grandmother.

Service will be held at 9:30 Am on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Virginia's niece, Minister Virginia Cathy Manuel officiating.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  The family will receive friends from 8:30-9:30 Am on Saturday at the funeral home.
