Virginia D. Lester

Virginia D. Lester, age 92, of Sidney, Passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney.  She was born on August 17, 1928 in Lafollette, TN to the late Ulyesses and Edith (Shoffner) Ellison.

Virginia is survived by one daughter: Debra (Earl) Farr of Sidney; one brother: Carless (Betty) Ellison of Melvindale, MI; grandsons: Mike (Cortney Stangel) Martin of Ft. Loramie, Jason Martin of Sidney, Brad (Megan) Martin of Sidney; great grandchildren: Kaleb (Anna) Martin, Victoria (Devin Burghard) Martin, Payton Martin, Caleb Leffler, Joni Martin, Johnathan Martin, Jillian Martin and Jenna Martin; and great great grandchildren: Kaisley Martin, Kayson Leffler, Ezekiel Burghard and Cambria Burghard.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Eugene Ellison.

Virginia was of the Baptist faith.  She loved the outdoors, especially working in her flower garden and spending time with her family.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney with Pastor Daniel Gutman officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, Ohio 45365.
