Victor A. Rivera

Victor A. Rivera, age 92, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.  He was born on August 29, 1932 in Naguabo, Porta Rico to the late Juan and Eladia (Vasquez) Rivera.

Victor is survived by five children: Mary E. Lisa (Kevin) Grogean of Fletcher, Marjorie (Rick) Place of Sidney, Victor (Christina) Rivera of Greenville, SC, Gabe (Michelle) Rivera of DeGraff and Lino Rivera of Sidney; step daughter: Patricia Foster of Sidney; stepson: Richard (Jerri) Swiger of Sidney; stepdaughter-in-law: Donna Elsass of Sidney; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years: Lillian Rivera; one daughter; three stepsons; and many brother and sisters.

Victor retired from Textron Industries in Lima.  He attended Solid Rock Pentecostal Church in Sidney.  Victor loved to fish and hunt.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on June 2, 2025, at Pearl Cemetery in Anna with Pastor Jeff Hill officiating.
