V Kathryn (Branscum) Herbert

V. Kathryn (Branscum) Herbert, age 58, of Sidney, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, after a brief illness.

She was born August 5, 1964, in Sidney, to the late Leonard Branscum and Juanita (Morrison) Branscum. On May 27, 2001, she married Dale R. Herbert, and he survives.

Also surviving are daughter; Katelynn (Tre) Herbert of Sidney, Amber (Adam) Fishel of Sidney, Jennifer Herbert of Sidney, Patricia (Travis) Zartman of Indiana, Justin Watters of Sidney, twelve grandchildren, and brothers; Cecil (Vicki) Branscum and Allen (Sharon) Branscum of Sidney.

Kathryn was a 1981 graduate of Houston High School and of the Christian faith. She was employed at RCI in Sidney. She loved shopping for clothes and anything shiny. She enjoyed quilting and playing cards with her mother and brothers. And she also loved to sing and dance.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Chaplain Randy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens.
