Troy Michael Belden

Troy Michael Belden, 59, of Sidney, Ohio, died at 9:00 AM on Thursday October 21, 2021, at Heritage Center, in Minster Ohio. He was born in Fortuna, California, on February 15, 1962, to the late Robert and Rebecca (Bennett) Belden. Troy was a 1982 graduate of Sidney High School and was the first student in a wheelchair to graduate from SHS. He loved attending school and was immensely proud of this accomplishment. After graduating, Troy enjoyed working at S & H products and most recently, at Auglaize Industries.

He is survived by one sister, Robyn (Jeff) Smith, his nephew Lucas Smith and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Troy was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, and Sidney High School football. He loved going to high school football games, watching television and movies. Troy loved travelling, shopping, playing bingo and spending time with family and friends.

Troy had a kind and generous spirit and loved everyone that he met. He had a soft and caring heart for others and worried more about those around him than himself. Those who knew him will remember him for his kindness, joyfulness, huge smile, and laughter.

A memorial service, in honor of Troy, will occur at 3:30 PM on Thursday October 28th, at the North Broadway Church of Christ, Sidney, Ohio with evangelist Brent Wright officiating. Refreshments will be available after the services. Adams Funeral Home will be overseeing the funeral arrangements.
