Thomas E. "Tom" Sheipline

Thomas E. “Tom” Sheipline, age 82, of Anna, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima.  He was married to Clairlynn (Standley) Sheipline for over 45 years before her passing on July 6, 2018.  Thomas was a father to Jim (Carol) Doak of Sidney, Kurt (Krista) Sheipline of Anna, Burt (Jennifer) Sheipline of Anna, Rita (Kurt) Manger of Anna and Gene Sheipline of Phoenix, AZ.  Tom is also survived by siblings: Mary Wooley of Frazier, MI, Donnie (Joyce) Sheipline , Connie House and Eileen (Jim) Thorpe, all of Wapakonets, OH; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents and wife, Tom was preceded in death by one grandson: Austin Doak; and 5 siblings.

Tom proudly served his country as a member of the US Marine Corps.  He was a member of Moose Lodge in St. Marys.  Tom worked at Midmark in Versailles for 30 years.  He attended Anna United Methodist Church.  Tom enjoyed gardening, woodworking, fishing and hunting.  He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. 

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Jason Schaefner officiating.  Burial will follow in Pearl Cemetery with full military honors being presented by Shelby County Veterans and US Marine Corps.  Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
