Tammy Ann VanHook, age 60 of Sidney, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at Hospice of Miami County. She was born February 2, 1959 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Fred Davis and surviving Marge (Cantrill) Davis of Sidney.
She is survived by her long-time companion Philip VanHook of Sidney; children Eric VanHook of Sidney, Ashley (Tomas) Neal of Piqua; grandchildren Hailey VanHook, Quentin Neal, Cleveland Neal, Lucy Neal, Jet Neal; brothers and sisters Horbin Brown of Sidney, Connie Huff of Michigan, Terry (Kathy) Davis of Sidney; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded by son Alex VanHook.
Tammy was a dispatcher for Sidney 911 for many years until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sidney, and a 1977 graduate of Sidney High School. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds Baseball fan for many years, loved Garth Brooks, writing poetry, and was very involved with her children and family.
Family and friends may call Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Earnie Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
