Susan C. (Diss) Geary

Susan C. Geary, age 86, of Sidney, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Otterbine Cridersville Seniorlife in Lima. She was born January 2, 1940, in Venedocia, Ohio, to the late Thomas Dewey Diss and Verna (Buchenroth) Diss.

Susan is survived by son, Stephen Geary of Sidney, and daughter, Sara (Michael) Day of Pickerington, Ohio. She was preceded in death by brother, James Diss.

Susan was a member of the First Christian Church in Sidney.  She was employed as a Lab Technician at Wilson Hospital in Sidney for over 35 years of faithful service. After retirement, she raised Alpaca’s, and spent time with her children and pet dogs and cats. She was a 1958 graduate of York High School in Van Wert County, Ohio.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kris Geise officiating. Burial will follow at Venedocia Cemetery.
