Stephen W. Coffey

Stephen W. Coffey, age 66, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Shelby Skilled Nursing.  He was born on March 17, 1956, in Sidney, to the late Theodore and Nancy (Lewis) Coffey.

Stephen is survived by siblings: Bridget Steed, Sondra Owen and Rhonda (Carl) Branscum, all of Sidney, and Kathy Hamilton of Evansville, IN; and nieces and nephews: Joshua (Jenny) Ferguson, Justin Ferguson, Brooke (Nicholas) Cathcart, Daniel Branscum, Brittany (Andrew) Barnhart, Sarah (Micah) Laber, Anthony Steed, Stephanie Owen and Shane, Sandy Owen and Tim, Mindy (Jason) Love.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law: Thomas Owen.

Stephen was a member of Full Gospel Church in Sidney.  He worked at S & H Products in Sidney for 40 years.  Stephen loved baseball and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.  He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing video games.  Stephen was a very patriotic person.  He loved everything about American and the military.  Stephen rang the bell for Salvation Army for over 30 years.  He called the bingo numbers at all the family gatherings.  Stephen will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.  The family would like to thank Dr. Blatchley and his staff  and the staff at Shelby Skilled Nursing for the care they gave Stephen for over 30 years.

Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating.  Burial will be in Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
