Shirley J. Leach

Shirley J. Leach, age 73, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  She was born on October 14, 1950, in Sidney, to the late Kenneth and Helen (Krogman) Block.

Shirley is survived by one daughter: Tammy Leonard-Kattau of Sidney; four grandchildren: Justin Burks, Zach Smothers, Jacob Leonard and Joseph Leonard; three great grandchildren: Zayden, Amari and Malakai; one sister: Connie (Joe) Frilling of Sidney; one special niece: Jenny Holbrook; and many additional nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Ginger Smothers; and one sister: Nancy Bollinger.

Shirley retired from LeRoy Dresser after many years of service.  She was of the Christian faith.  Shirley was an avid Ohio State football fan – “Go Bucks!”.  She enjoyed crafting, cooking and spending time with her family. 

Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Rev. Jason Bradshaw officiating.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
