Shirley E. Wilson

Shirley E. (Bohlier) Wilson, age 85, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, June 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 10, 1938, in Shelby County, Ohio, to the late C. Kenneth and Edith (Dorsey) Bohlier.  On December 16, 1962, she married Joe M. Wilson and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2024.

Shirley is survived by her daughter and caregiver: Shelly (Wilson) Mann of Sidney, three grandchildren: Andrew John Marvin Wilson, Scott Wilson, Shayna (Mann) Lukowski; great-grandchildren: Hazel Grace Wilson and Beau Gentry Wilson; and one brother: William “Bill” (Beverly) Bohlier, Oklahoma City, OK.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son: Marvin W. Wilson; and one sister: Nancy Reed.

Shirley was a 1956 graduate of Fairlawn High School.  Shirley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sidney and was church secretary for Good Shepherd Church in Sidney for many years.  She retired from Schindler Haughton in Sidney.  She enjoyed watching TV game shows, doing word search and dot-to-dot puzzles and was great at trivia.  Shirley loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Scott New officiating.  Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.
