Sherman K. Fleming

Sherman K. Fleming, age 83, of Sidney passed away unexpectedly October 18, 2025, at home. He was born October 7th, 1942, in Sidney, Ohio. He was the son of Francis "Frank" and Mabel (Carey) Fleming, who preceded him in death. On April 3rd, 1961, he married Sara (Orick) who preceded him in death in 2023.

Sherman is survived by son David (Lori) Fleming, daughter Machelle and her husband Ned Burden, grandchildren Travis (Tracie) Fleming. Ryan (Cindy) Fleming, Caitlynn (Craig) O'Meara, Benjamin (Krystal) Gates, Chelsea (Eric) Whitt, Sandy (Christian) Grabasch and Glen Burden (Rachel Sailor), eighteen great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Grandson, Ned (Bud) Burden III, brothers, Kenneth, Charles, John, James and sisters Sarah Fleming, Mary Warfield and Blanche Ware preceded him in death.

Sherman retired in 2005 as property manager at Lakeside Village and Northbrook Mobile Home Parks. Previously he worked 27 years at Stolle Corporation / Alcoa Building Products Division serving in various management positions.

He attended Sidney Church of God on Wagner Avenue in Sidney. Sherman enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Family and visitors may pay respects to the family from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral will commence at 12 noon with Rev. Shane Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sidney Church of God, 321 N. Wagner Avenue, Sidney, Ohio, in Sherman’s memory.
