Sheri Michelle Williams (Sturgeon), 56, of Fairborn, OH and formerly of Sidney, returned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 1st, 2023, at Kettering Medical Center, after a valiant fight with a short illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace in Jesus’ arms.
She was born in Kansas City, Kansas on March 12th, 1967 to Ronald Williams and Donna Colgrove Williams, who preceded her in death. She loved being a mother to her children and is survived by her son Joshua Williams and her daughters Courtney Miller (Michael Taylor) and Brandi Vondenhuevel (Clayton). She is also survived by her sister Tracy Williams Ogle and her brother John Schuck.
Being “Mimi” was one of her favorite things in this world. She is survived by her adoring grandchildren, Joshua and Eliza Williams, Destiny Fergus, Hailey Yancey, Rylyn Miller, Aryanna Young, Ella, Libby, Kinsley, and Nell Vondenhuevel. Sheri was a loving and devoted grandmother who leaves behind cherished memories for her grandchildren.
Sheri was passionate about her role as a tax analyst at H&R Block. Working for the company for many years, she enjoyed keeping herself busy by preparing taxes and getting to know her coworkers and customers. In her spare time, Sheri enjoyed spending time crafting, making candy bouquets, and decorative wreaths for her family and friends. She loved Jesus and you could often find her listening to her favorite worship songs on repeat.
Sheri will always be remembered for her unending love and her feistiness and the way that she could always make everyone laugh. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
A celebration of life will be held graveside at 1 PM on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023, at Cedar Point Cemetery, located at 17700 State Route 706 in Pasco, to celebrate Sheri’s life and the impact she had on all of us. May she rest in the embrace of Christ's arms. Arrangements entrusted to Adam’s Funeral Home.
