Sharon Kay Long

Sharon Kay Long, age 69, of Sidney, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at her residence.  She was born on July 31, 1953, in Winchester, IN, to the late Willie and Pollie (Smith) Doan.

Sharon is survived by five children: Kenneth (Tina) Couchot of Dartmouth, NC, Canada, Barbara (Gary) Scott of Centerville, OH, Jeffery (Tosha) Couchot of Huber Heights, OH, William (Rose) Couchot of Wapakoneta, OH and Matthew (Amy) Couchot of Coldwater, OH; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three sisters: Sandy (Larry) Mills, Pam (Andy) Brown and Debbie Baldridge, all of Winchester, IN.

Sharon was a member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church for eight years.  She was very proud of her faith and loved to share it with everyone she met.  Sharon also collected angels, enjoyed doing art and spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She retired from the Home Health Care profession. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
