Scott Sprague

Scott M. Sprague, age 53, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at St. Vincents Medical Center-Mercy Hospital in Toledo.  He was born on March 31, 1970, to George and Marie (Montague) Sprague.  On December 27, 2005, he married Joanna (Crosley) Sprague and she survives.

In addition to his wife and parents, Scott is also survived by five brothers: Ken (Karen) Sprague of Fruita, CO, Duane Sprague of Wapakoneta, Shawn Sprague of Sidney, Eric (Nikki) Sprague of Spencerville and Rob Sprague of Sidney; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. 

Scott was a 1988 graduate of Mendon High School.  He was of the Christian faith.  Scot was an avid fan of Ohio State University Buckeyes, Pittsburg Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers.  He had previously worked at Copeland Corporation.  Scott proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Tim Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson with full military honors being presented by Shelby County Veterans and US Army.  Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
