Sally J. (Pheneger) Couchman

Sally J. (Pheneger) Couchman, 78 years of age, of Sidney, passed away Saturday February 20, 2021.  She was born June 2, 1942 to the late Raymond & Pauline (Thompson) Pheneger in DeGraff, OH.

She married on June 10, 1967 to R. Dale Couchman who proceeded her in death.  The couple had two children Heidi Crouse (Keith) of Sidney, and Robin Hughes (Stan) of Union, OH.  Two grandchildren Xander and Xavier Hughes. 

She is a 1961   graduate of Harrison-Adams.  After high school,  she attended business school in Springfield, OH.  She studied courses to become an administrative assistant. After completing business school, she worked as an administrative assistant for Sidney Elevator for years before starting her family.

Her hobbies included being a member of Eastern Star, a member of the ESA sorority, and an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Sidney where she enjoyed singing in the choir.  She liked to crochet and passed that on to her girls.
