Ruth Ann Wyer

Ruth Ann Wyer, age 83, passed peacefully, Friday, April 3, 2026, at The Landings in Sidney, Ohio, where she had resided for two years.

Ruth was born September 18, 1942, in Champaign County, to Edward and Mary Ruth (Stoker) Wyer.

She was a graduate of Harrison-Adams (Rosewood) High School.  She was a loyal employee of Sears Department Store, retiring after 40 years of faithful service. Ruth was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and had attended Fletcher United Methodist Church in Fletcher when failing eyesight forced her to give up driving.

Ruth is survived by one brother, Jeff Wyer of St. Paris, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by brother, Robert Wyer, and nephew, Gregory Wyer.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tina Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.
