Ruth Spaugy

Ruth M. Spaugy, age 83, of Sidney, passed away on January 8, 2022, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney.  She was born on June 26, 1938, in Ft. Loramie, to Leo and Bernadine (Pleiman) Eilerman.

Ruth is survived by two daughters: Crystal Powers and Victoria Spaugy, both of Sidney; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Lisa Spaugy of Sidney.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons: James Spaugy, Sr, Michael Ray Spaugy and Joseph Wayne Spaugy; brother: Donald Eilerman; and one grandson: James Spaugy, Jr.

Ruth previously worked at Baumfolder in Sidney, before retiring from Hobart in Troy.  She was of the Catholic faith.  Ruth loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at The Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH 45365.  Service will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.
