Ruth v. Meyer

Ruth V. Meyer, age 93, of Anna, passed away on January 15, 2022, at her residence.  She was born on December 10, 1928, in Sidney to the late Harry Shoyer and Lillian Baker Katterhenry.  On February 28, 1975, she married Robert Meyer and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Ruth is survived by three sons: Larry Gene Coverstone of Sidney, Gary (Rhonda) Coverstone of Anna and Daniel C. (Carol J.) Coverstone of Sidney; one half-sister: Maxine Cochran of Sidney; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren; and twenty seven great great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Carolyn Michael; one sister: Mary Louise Thompson; one daughter-in-law: Estelina Coverstone; one grandson; one great grandson; and one great granddaughter.

Ruth was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCartyville.  She collected dolls and different types of angels.  Ruth loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Ruth retired after many years from Pangles in Sidney.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCartyville, OH, with Fr. John Tonkin and Fr. Steve Mondiek as Co-Celebrants.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.
