Ruth E. (Zettel) Hicks

Ruth E. Hicks, age 95, of Rosewood, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at The Landings of Sidney.

She was born November 27, 1928, in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, to the late Donald and Evelyn (Barnfine) Zettel.

She and her husband, Glenn Hicks, have enjoyed 76 years of marriage. They were married on March 20, 1948.

Ruth is survived by her husband Glenn, daughters: Cheryl (James) Quasius of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Donna Sinha of Pittsboro, North Carolina, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Ruth was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband to fifteen states in their motor home and gardening.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Private graveside service will be held on Friday at the Rosedale Cemetery outside of Rosewood.
