Ronald Huecker

Ronald J. “Hook Em” Huecker, age 68, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Kindred Hospital in Lima.  He was born on October 22, 1954, in Sidney, to the late Richard and Marcella (Crown) Huecker.

Ronald is survived by children: Christina Huecker, Joseph and Crystal Brackney, Kasey Brackney Hawkins, Kaleb Sanford and Heather Ludwig, all of Sidney; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings: Jo Ann (Steve) Varner of Las Vegas, John Huecker of Springfield, Phil (Mary Kaye) Huecker of Sidney, Janie Roush of Orient, OH, Joyce (Mike) Goubeaux of Sidney, and Judy (Tim) Atwood of North Las Vegas, NV; and a dear friend of over 60 years: James “Barney” Simon.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Richard Huecker, Jr.; and one brother-in-law: Roger Roush.  He will be greatly missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Ronald was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.  He was a 1972 graduate of Lehman High School.  Ronald retired from Ohio Auto Kolor and was also employed at Presser Auto Parts.  He enjoyed working on cars, watching football and playing pool.  He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.  Ronald liked drinking Coors beer, listening to Rock & Roll and spending time with his many close friends.
