Roger J. Allen

Roger J. Allen, age 70, of Sidney, was born on September 26, 1953, and passed away on August 16, 2024.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary (Kathy) Allen; his three children; Trinity Allen, Kelly (David) Massey, and Patrick Sr. Allen; his nine grandchildren, Erica, Zach, Karissa, Kelsey, Patrick Jr., Katie, Timothy, Charlie, and Jay; eight great-grandchildren; two nephews Mike and Jack Bowers; and his best friend John Bair.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna (Cotterman) Allen, his father, Roger Cornelius Allen, and his sister, Veneessa Bowers.

Roger served in the Army for four years, and then served another four years in the National Guard.  He was an avid fisherman, loved to ride his Harley, and loved to get his mud (coffee) at the Waffle House with his friends. Roger was dearly loved by many and will be sincerely missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.
