Robert L. Daniel

Robert Lee (June) Daniel, Jr., born December 16, 1937 in Rome, Ga. to Robert Lee and Ella Mae Turner Daniel, departed this life on February 9, 2020 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio from a lengthy illness.

Robert joined the U.S. Army at an early age. He was employed at Copeland Corporation in Sidney and Hobart Welding Company in Troy, Ohio. He loved music and spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Kenny (Linda) Lee of Sidney, Travis (Michelle) Williams of Covington, Ohio, Keith Bolden of Sidney, and David Bolden of Piqua, Ohio; Stacy (Lonnie) Clark of North Carolina, Candice Allen of Dayton, Ohio Sebrina Horn of Elgin, Ill. and Karen (Greg) Landrum of Piqua, Ohio; six brothers: Wilbert Daniel of Elgin, Ill., James Daniel of Sidney, Ohio, Ray Daniel of Powder Springs, Ga., Lamar (Alice) Daniel of Cedartown, Ga., Thomas Henderson of Rome, Ga., James (Faye) Henderson of Rockmart, Ga., one sister: Vanessa Clemons Gibson of Cedartown, Ga., a special friend Robert Johnson.

He also leaves 30 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, loving aunt; Velma McGarity, sister; Barbara Ann Franklin, two brothers; Randall and Calvin Hughes; son Benjamin (Jazz) Bolden and a granddaughter Nicole Webster.

Family will be receiving friends Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Services will follow at noon with Pastor Jerry Jones officiating. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery. Full military honors In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daniel family to help offset funeral expenses. Arrangements for the Daniel family are in the care of Adams Funeral Home.
