Rita F. Belt

RITA F. BELT, age 70, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney.  She was born on November 30, 1950 in Sidney to the late Milton and Christine (Frilling) Jacobs.  On July 22, 1978, she married Bruce Belt and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Rita is survived by one daughter: Tracie (Travis) Fleming of Sidney; six grandchildren: Nicholas (girlfriend: Madalyn Kirtley) Fleming, Lily Belt, Quintin Belt, Isaac Belt, Emily Fleming and Abigail Fleming; one great grandson: DJ Crawford; siblings: Fred Jacobs, Joe (Connie) Frilling and Bill (Dawn) Jacobs, all of Sidney; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: David Belt; and one sister: Kathleen Frilling.

Rita was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1403 in Sidney.  She was a housekeeper and STNA at Pavilion in Sidney.  Rita enjoyed watching TV, playing with her dogs and doing jigsaw puzzles.  She was an avid Ohio States and Philadelphia Eagles sports fan.  Rita had a big heart and loved to help others.

Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.
