Ricky L. Wolfe

Ricky L. Wolfe, age 68, of Sidney, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at St. Rita Medical Center Hospice in Lima.  He was born on February 8, 1957, in Sidney to the late Thomas E. and Elizabeth “Betty” (Rich) Wolfe.  On July 2, 1986, he married Kathy (Bercaw) Wolfe, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Ricky is survived by four children: Jerry (Lisa) Hire of Wewa, FL, Patrick (Tracey) Hire of Wapakoneta, OH, Tim (Fiancé, Dena Johnson) Beck of Sidney, OH, and Tisha (Fiancé, Kyle Kizer) Wolfe of Troy, OH; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren: step-mother: Trudy Wolfe of Sun City, FL; and brother David (Robin) Hughes of Sidney, OH.

Ricky was employed at Honda in Anna for 29 ½ years.  He was a 1976 graduate of Sidney High School.  While in high school, Ricky was involved in weightlifting and football.  He loved to exercise.  Ricky was an avid fan of Ohio State sports, especially football, and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He was of the Christian faith.

Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Kent Place officiating.  Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 1:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
