Richard Allen Bell

Richard Allen Bell, age 79, of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at his residence.  He was born May 30, 1946, in Sidney, to the late James L. Bell and Dorothy T. (Smith) Bell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith E. (Scott) Bell.

Richard is survived by daughter, Theresa L. Bell and son, Scott Bell of Sidney, grandchildren; Shane Marlow of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, Megan Marlow, Kaiden Bell of Sidney, Kenna Ingle of Fletcher, Jessica Bell of Sidney, three great-grandchildren, and brother, Larry (Marie) Bell of Sidney.

Richard retired with over 30 years of faithful service from B.F. Goodrich in Troy. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.  He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the Sidney Eagles. He loved boating, camping, movies and collecting old cars and John Deere tractors.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Eileen Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, with full military honors performed by the U.S. Navy.
