Rev. Jonathan A. Richmond

Rev. Jonathan A. Richmond, age 76, of Sidney, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at his home surrounded by family and loved ones.  Jon retired from NKP after 15 years.  Jon was also the pastor of Pemberton Baptist Church. 

Jon is survived by his wife: Diana (Frost) Richmond; stepchildren: Tammy (Gary) Shaffer of West Liberty, Timmy (Monica) Lynch of Sidney and Josh (Tracy) Tuttle of MI; and six siblings: Linda (Rick)Goan of TN, Donna (Jack) Frost of Sidney, Tony (Carlene) Richmond of Celina, James (Lola) Richmond, Christopher Richmond and Kim (Joe) Bradley, all of Sidney.  Jon was also blessed with many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  Jon was preceded in death by his first wife: Betty (Lynch) Richmond; parents: Leonard L. and Ruby J. (Rutherford) Richmond, one brother Michael L. Richmond; and one stepson: Timothy Tuttle. 

Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, with Rev Mark Strunk officiating.  Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
