Raymond Kiser, Jr.

Raymond Kiser Jr., age 72, of Sidney , formerly of Piqua , passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy , surrounded by his family. He was born on June 18, 1949 in Bellefontaine , Ohio to the late Raymond and Roma (Jenkins) Kiser. 

Raymond is survived by his daughters: Jennifer Kiser Smith of Piqua, Tammy (Steven) Smith of Sidney, and Tonia (Andrew) Gates of Sidney; grandchildren: Hannah Smith, Caleb Smith, Lindsay Morgan, Emily Smith, Taylor Smith, Sarah Smith, Jacob Balta, Ben Gates, and Chelsie Whitt; seven great-grandchildren; brother: Terry (Su) Spain of Washington; sisters: Esther (James) Dyke of New Carlisle, and Judy (Alan) Hemenway of Washington, and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.

He was a former welder, machine operator, and maintenance worker.  He was an avid Ohio State and Dale Earnhardt fan.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, target shooting, and attending car races.  He collected pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house for many years and up to his passing.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and looked forward to all holidays, especially ones with a lot of food. He will be deeply missed by his family.

A Celebration of Life will take place on August 21, 2021 at 11: 00 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home, Sidney , Ohio .  Family will receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.  Final resting place will be at Miami Memorial Park , Covington , Ohio at the convenience of the family.
