Phyllis J. Latimer

Phyllis J. Latimer, age 78, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney.  She was born on June 21, 1946, in Sidney to the late Forrest and Ernestine (Elliott) Latimer.

Phyllis is survived by one brother: Philip (Mary) Latimer of Versailles; nieces and nephews: Nancy and Brian Boyd, Julia and Jeff Emrick and Peg Latimer; and her extended family at Dorothy Love.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law: Donald and Marjorie Latimer; and one nephew: Doug Latimer.

Phyllis was a 1964 graduate of Sidney High School.  She was employed at Monarch Machine for many years doing secretarial and date entry (key punch) work.  Phyllis enjoyed sports, especially basketball and The Ohio State football.  She also enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.  Phyllis was of the Christian faith.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney.  Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
