Phyliss Starrett

Phyllis J. Starrett, age 88, of Anna, formerly of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at her residence.  She was born on November 8, 1934, in Sidney to the late Stanley and Thelma (Nichols) Howell.  On January 21, 1955,, she married Roland Starrett and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Phyllis is survived by three children: Diane (Ted) Smart of Anna, Shari (Steve) Francis of Germantown, TN, and Darren (Kim) Starrett of Piqua; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers: Jim (Richie) Howell of Piqua and Max Howell of Sidney; and one sister-in-law: Jean Evans of Sidney.

Phyllis was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing and being outdoors.  Phyllis’ favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Private graveside service will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco.
