Philip Knief

PHILIP W. KNIEF, age 51, of New Bremen, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Grand Lake Health Care Center in St. Marys.  He was born on August 7, 1970 in Sidney to Jack Knief of Sidney and the late Addie (Rostorfer) Knief, who passed away on August 30, 2019.  On June 16, 1989, he married Eileen (Platfoot) and she survives.

In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by two children: Jeffrey Knief and Alan Knief, both of New Bremen; and brothers: James (Marilyn) Knief of Sidney and Scot (Bianca) Knief of Piqua.

Philip was a 1988 graduate of Sidney High School.  He was employed in shipping and receiving at Setex in St. Marys.  Philip enjoyed Golf, bowling, playing video games and spending time with his family.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH with Chaplain Angela Barfield officiating.  Burial will follow in German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
