Paul Richard "Rich" Cotterman

Paul Richard “Rich” Cotterman, Jr., age 58, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, OH.  He was born on September 9, 1962, in Sidney to the late Paul Richard “Dick” and Geneva Ruth (Atkins) Cotterman.  On November 23, 1991, he married Paula (Roesser) Cotterman and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Rich is survived by two children: Jamie (Kim) Cotterman of Rosewood and Bryce (Jakob) Cotterman of Sidney; brothers and sisters: Sheila (Jim) Llewellyn of Taylor Mill, KY, Rick (Angie) Cotterman of Sidney, Kathy (Wayne) Gillem Soper of Pemberton, Randy Cotterman of Jacksonville, FL, Robert (Heather) Cotterman of Sidney and Deborah Witt of Cleveland; grandchildren: James Cotterman, Jr., Madison Cotterman, Alyssa Taylor and Dawson Lewis; special nieces: Kaylee and Maleah; many other nieces and nephews; and his two dogs: Harley and Deisel.  IN addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by two sisters: Patricia (Gary) Gates and Vicki Cotterman Hamaker; and one brother-in-law: Junior Gillem.

Rich attended Sidney High School.  He was of the Christian faith.  Rich was employed at Airstream for 27 years.  He was a member of Sidney Eagles and an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.  Rich enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon.  He also enjoyed big fish fries with his family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH with Sheila Llewellyn officiating.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
