Paul E. Calhoun, Sr.

PAUL E. CALHOUN, SR., age 76, of Sidney passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Fair Haven Nursing Home in Sidney.  He was born on May 18, 1944 in Fonde, KY to Shelby “Buck” and Mary Louella (Kelly) Calhoun.

Paul is survived by one son: Paul E. Calhoun, Jr. of Huber Heights; two grandsons; and siblings: Leon (Sue) Calhoun of Sidney, Joyce Reed of Pruden, TN, Shelby (Charles) Holloway of Sidney, Teresa (Gene) Holloway of Sidney and Jimmy (Dorothy) Calhoun of Maplewood.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Reed; and one brother: Orbille Calhoun.

Paul attended Solid Rock Pentecostal Church in Sidney.  He retired from Stolle Corporation in Sidney.  Paul enjoyed working on cars and building things.  He also loved dogs, especially his special dog: Chico.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
