Patty L. Wiley

Patty L.Wiley, age 75, of Sidney, passed away peacefully May 19, 2024, at her residence.  She was born in Lima, Ohio, February 10, 1949, to William “Bill” Kaeck and J. Lucille “Shorty” Harshberger.

She married Marc Wiley on June 30, 2001, and he survives.

Also surviving are children; Michael (Corine) Cox of Bellefontaine, David (April) Cox of Wapakoneta, Michelle Zahn of Sidney, Scott A. Wiley of Cincinnati, Jason Wiley of Minneapolis, Minnesota., seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Siblings surviving are Becky Elsass, John Kaeck, Carol Jean Snider, Albert Kaeck, Dan Kaeck and Ralph Kaeck.

Patty was a 1967 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wapakoneta. She retired from Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine where she worked as a secretary.  She also worked in the Women’s Center at Wilson Hospital in Sidney.  She enjoyed knitting, watching TV, fishing, traveling, and babysitting her grandchildren.  She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Celebration to follow at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Patty’s memory.
