Patricia L. Hurley

Patricia L. Hurley, age 63, of Sidney, passed away on September 10, 2021, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima with her family by her side. She was born on May 19, 1958, in Sidney to the late William and Martha (Guinen) Maloon.  On June 23, 1979, she married John Hurley and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by three children: Gabriel Hurley, Amy (Nathan) Evans, both of Sidney, and Ryan Hurley of Great Falls, MT; five granddaughters: Emma, Audrey, Libby, Madison and Zanna; siblings: Bill (Alice) Maloon of South Carolina, Jim Maloon of Dover, Ron (Deb) Maloon of Ft. Loramie and Martha (James) Thompson of Maplewood; and two pets: Daisy May, and Pumpkin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters: Bobbie, Becky, and Helen.

Patricia was a graduate of Jackson Center High School.  She worked for many years at Holloway in Jackson Center and Sidney. Patricia was of Christian faith. She loved her dog, music, cooking, and spending time with family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH 45363 with Pastor Don Faulder officiating.  Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Garden, Sidney.  Family will receive friends from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
