Pamela Theresa (Hentrich) Carr

Pamela Theresa Carr, 77, of Sidney, Ohio, passed away at home, in her sleep on the morning of January 18, 2026, with her husband Tracy by her side. Pam fought a tough battle with Alzheimer's disease with Tracy helping her through it.

She was born in Sidney in 1948, to the late Mark and Mary (Miller) Hentrich, and attended twelve years at Holy Angels School. She graduated from beauty school and barber school. She was a barber and beautician for over thirty years, owning the Razor Edge in Sidney for some time.

One of Pam's greatest passions after retiring was volunteering at Compassionate Care in Sidney, and helping to serve meals where needed. Pam liked church and attended weekly. She enjoyed playing golf, completing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. Over the last few years, Pam accompanied Tracy on the few jobs he still did, appreciating their time together.

Pam was preceded in death by her second husband Alvin Wheeler, and her brother Warren Hentrich, and is survived by her brothers Duane Hentrich and Ken Hentrich,her husband Tracy Carr, her son Matthew Leach and wife Tiffany, and her four grandsons, Daniel, Isaac, Dylan, and Tyler Leach.

Tracy says, "this little lady believed in me and trusted her whole world with me. I could have not asked for anything more. I thank God every day for the gift of Pam." and the 11 years we had together.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.
