Nancy Louise Reed

Nancy Louise Reed, age 83, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at her residence.  She was born on January 21, 1940, in Shelby County, OH, to the late C. Kenneth and Edith (Dorsey) Bohlier.  She was married to Hubert “Doc” Reed and he preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by brothers: William (Bev) Bohlier of Oklahoma City, OK; sister: Shirley (Joe) Bohlier-Wilson of Sidney; niece: Shelly Wilson Mann of Sidney; and many additional nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one nephew: Marvin Wilson.

Nancy attended Pasco United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.  She was also a member of Sidney American Legion Auxiliary Post 217. Nancy was an avid sewer, crocheter and knitter.  She sold most of her items at local craft shows.  She loved to read and had a library of books.  Nancy also enjoyed old movies and collected DVDs and VHSs to watch them on.

Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH, with Pastor Scott New officiating.  Family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, OH.
