Nadine Hughes

NADINE HUGHES, age 86, of Sidney, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Wilson Health in Sidney.  She was born on June 4, 1934 in Burnside, KY to the late William and Cora (Cooper) Terry.  On August 16, 1968, she married Randall Hughes and he survives.

Nadine is also survived by two sons: Russell Whited of Sidney and David (Linda) Shadoan of Vista, CA; grandchildren: Eric (Kennedy) Shadoan, Natasha Tittle, Robert Shadoan, Jason (Jayme) Schmidlipp and Leilea Shadoan; special niece: Crystal Alexander; and special family members: Randy and Lisa Stegal of Sidney.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Scott Shadoan; five brothers: Dale Terry, Alvin Terry, William Ira Terry, James Robert Terry and Oliver Terry; and two sisters: Pauline Shie and Lillie Scherer.

Nadine was a member of Sidney Baptist Church and was a strong, Christian woman.  She retired from Copeland Corporation and was a homemaker.  Nadine enjoyed gardening, crocheting, collecting cookbooks and was an excellent cook.  She loved her family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH.  A Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home with Chaplain Angela Barfield officiating.  Nadine will be placed in Graceland Cemetery in Sidney at a later date.
