Michael Anthony "Mike" Wooten

Michael Anthony “Mike” Wooten, age 57, of Sidney, passed away February 1, 2020.  He was born July 9, 1962 in Sidney, to Robert Wooten and Lucy (Moses) Wooten.

Michael married Jennifer (Carnes) Wooten on July 13, 2004 and she survives in Sidney.  Also surviving are children; Cherika Wooten, Janelle Wooten, siblings; Kristina Bowyer, Dave (Debra) Wooten, Vicky Davis, Matt (Karen) Wooten all of Sidney.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Michelle Wooten and a sister Teresa Powers.

Michael attended Sidney High School and World Mission for Christ Church in Sidney. He was employed at Advanced Composites in Sidney. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid Harley Davidson fan. He was an accomplished artist and loved to draw and was also a great animal lover.  He especially loved his family and spending time with them.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020, from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at World Mission for Christ Church, 231 Doering Street, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Strunk officiating.
